loreal sales was on a few weeks back and i've been waiting for this for months!!

i wanted to mainly buy mama's stuff as she's using loreal skincare at the moment and i know that the prices for the skincare went very cheap usually... hee.....

i spent about 150 in total and snagged some extremely great bargains!!

mi and gim went for our HDB 1st appointment awhile back... it was really quite exciting seeing that we have been anticipating this since August!! we are sooo finally going to get our own place....

i was really excited and told gim we need to dress up so as to look more formal.. hahaha.. despite agreeing with what i said, he turns up in a tee and jeans.... oh well... seeing that he goes to wedding dinners in that pair of jeans, i think tt's formal enough.....

everything went on smoothly and we will be going for our 2nd appointment and getting the keys in Jan... really quite excited about everything.... frankly, i can't wait for the house to be ready... but then, i'm really not looking forward to the wedding... haizz...

yet another outing with mama... hahahha... when gim was too busy with work in nov, i had mama to myself on the weekends and it was really fun just throwing all the housework to aside and going out to shop and walk.....

my hair has been rather messy due to the humid weather and that it's been 1 yrs plus since i last rebonded... so i'm sporting the pony tail whenever i go out... hahaha... i love the high pony tail and i tot it made me look younger?? :p

oh yah.. since i was taking pictures in my balcony, i took a shot of my chilli plant... i really love it! works great when i need to cook some spicy dishes.... dun be decieved by this tiny plant... it packs alot of heat! i use it quite a bit in my cooking....

mama don't usually like to pose for the camera and it's not easy to get a good shot.... but i think she's slowly getting used to it since i take out my camera everytime i go out... hahaha...

a few weeks back, mama brought mi to bt timah hill for a walk... we really should go more often.. it's mins away from our house and it's good to walk abit, sweat abit and talk alot... hahah... i really missed the days when we would go there every single evening on weekdays... but since mama went out to work, she has lesser time for me and the only time she's free are on weekends when i need to accompany gim... haiz..

i love the monkeys that roam freely around there... they have absolutely no fear for humans and would readily approach humans if there's treats for them... i especially love the little monkeys with theirs mamas... so cute!

we were about to walk home after a hour or so and an old uncle gestured to me from a bench... we approached him apprehensively coz we didn't know what he wanted with us... ended up, he saw mi taking a lot of pictures and thought i would be interested in a sleeping snake!!

it's the 1st time i've seen a wild snake and i was pretty horrified... hahah... anyways, i didn't know there were people observing me taking pictures... hahaha.... it was quite funny...

the old uncle was really friendly and offered to hit the side of the bench so that i might be able to take a clearer picture of the snake.... i didn't take up his offer thou....

haven't been posting for awhile... i got lazy... and my life has been too exciting lately... i haven't even got much time to cook!!

i was practically living at expo the past few weeks... most ppl go there to work.. i go there to shop instead... hahaha... 1st, it was the mph warehouse sales... which i happily went and grabbed magazines and books at a fabulous discount!

then i brought mama over to the john little sales.... we didn't really buy much... but we got some baby clothes for my cousin's children.. so it wasn't so much of a wasted trip....

oh yah.. last wed, we (mi and ah y) celebrated jer's advanced birthday... hahaha... he treated us to marriot... or should i say we are supposed to give him an ang bao and get a 'free' treat in the process??

anyway, i really wanted to wear my nice vintage inspired necklace out but i didn't want to wear a dress or anything girly which should normally match the necklace so i decided to give it a different touch by pairing it with demins and a simple tank top... i like the effect! :) not too over the top and just nice...

excuse the expression... it was not a successful photo day... hahah...

ah y don't always meet up with us that often and so it was really fun when she could come and meet us... hee.. she always have the most hilarious experiences to share with us... i think she can write a joke book or something loh....

gim's dad reared some fishes in a giant ceramic pot just outside his house and it's so cute to see all the fishes swimming... they are really small and swim real fast! i only managed to take 1 decent pic out of a dozen i took... i could gladly stand there for an hour or so just taking pictures if not for the fact that a very impatient gim was waiting behind me.. hahah...

we went over to IMM for a stroll and take a look at some glass doors i was intending to use for my master bedroom shower... heee... i really love that idea the more i thnk of it! so excited...

i bought gim a small surprise... i've been searching for this sticker for a really long time and i'm so happy i finally found it! hee... he's the Mr Perfect in my mind.... maybe not really that perfect all the time but oh well... love blinds... :p

i didn't have much appetite this week.. dunno y also... so i actually skipped lunch and just had bread and my beloved almond paste.... hmm... actually, i think i did eat even thou i didn't have appetite...

we went hong lim complex again with the aim of eating their curry chicken noodles.. and we did have that but i didn't take any pix of it... i was sitting right in front of the store and i was much too shy... hahaha..... we then proceed upstairs where jer ate another bowl of minced pork noodles... yes.. he had 2 bowls of food!!! big bowls somemore loh!!!

i had a marvellous weekend!!! well, most of it anyway... :)

gim and i spend sat at chinatown... which is 1 of my favourite place in sg... hee.. i love the food, the busy streets, the little shops around that area... ate our fill and then had desserts and i managed to take a shot of gim along a pathway....

we had fun imitating some wedding poses but it's really tough when you are working the camera yourself and doing shots on timer... i really don't have a flair for modelling and i think i take the crazy shots best... hahaha....

among all the shots we took, this was the 1 we most liked... hahha....

we went to courts on sunday and i liked the stone wall behind the store... hahaha... took some shots there which were hilarious... it's easy to be happy when you are around your loved ones... hahah....

went for the usual foodie session yesterday... i originally wanted to dress up alittle coz we would be going over to ann siang and i tot i might as well take some photos... but the weather was too eccentric and i wore just shorts and a tank instead.... haiz.... the horrid thing was that i wore boots out coz it was raining heavily when i went out but the weather got increasingly hot as the day passes! terrible.....

anyway, got some pix at ann siang road.... i like taking photos! even thou jer wasn't that good a photographer, i guess he'll do... hahahah....
