haven been blogging for some time.. but i really was a little busy over the last few days... mummy had 3 days off work and i figured it was a great chance to bring her out and have a good bonding session... so it had been a fantastic wed to friday.. hahah... we tot we would be doing tons of cooking and we had a wild time at the supermarkets buying stuff.. end up we didn't cook that 3 days!! i would have to cook like mad this week to finish up all that vege.. hahah..

weekends was spend with gim and discussing bout the house as usual... came out with some great ideas! it's the best thing bout planning early... we can afford to make mistakes and redo the entire design... after all, it's just the blue prints still!! hee...

we shopping ikea and came out with new concepts for the house again.. looks like it's goin to be a minimalist industrial theme instead... hee.. but then, i've always liked these 2.. so it's a sure win with mi...

went out with jer today for our usual wed outings... and took some photos along the way... i love playing with my new camera!! hee... not tt new already... but i really love it! hee....

got inspired by ladymelbourne's blog.. and i think it's time to stop being so slack and stare dressing up a little.... i shall try to post outfits as well to keep mi inspired... hee.. i'm no fashionist... in fact, i've been known to be worse then a guy when it comes to grooming myself... :p

it's been awhile since i last posted... been rather busy lately... wat's with claire's 1st year birthday, gim getting sick, meeting up with jas, gathering with ah y and the rest.... i only rested yesterday!! aiyoo... i could feel myself getting a little heaty and tt cannot do! drank alot of water and popped a vitamin pill as a just-in-case precaution... hahahah....

met up with gim for breakfast on saturday coz he was goin to collect his passport! hee... we had a wonderful breakfast near lavender and tt place was sooo traditional! i wanted to snap some pix of that coffee-shop but was too shy... hahah... too many old uncles in the shop...

we went for the baby's 1st year celebration in the noon.... there were tons of people which wasn't really suitable for a house that didn't even had enough chairs! but... enough bout that.... hahaha... it was quite fun as i met a lot of relatives that i only get to meet on festive seasons... and seeing everyone so interested in gim was hilarious... hahahh....

had some drinks with jas and sand last tue.... it was surreal hearing them bitch around and it seems as thou i had gone back to working days... hahahah... the more i hear about the office stuff, the more i tell myself that i'm never goin back to that place... i seriously think it does wonders for my self esteem, that place.... the bad way, i mean....

didn't really do anything last night coz i didn't go out for the last 2 days... hahah...

i cooked herbal chicken... and it was great!!! according to my dad, that is.. hee... for once, i didn't have to fish for compliments from the parents... both sang praises for the dish... hee.... i believe the main contributor is my mum thou who gave me the estimates for the marinate.... hahaha... but she did say it's the cooking that matters... sooo.... hee....

i took the chance to take some pictures round my room coz i wanted to deplete the battery in my camera... it still had 1 bar left and i didn't really wanna chance it coz my niece's birthday party is today and i wanted to take some pictures of her... hee...

i haven't got the chance to take a good pix of my ring before... :) gim proposed earlier this year...

haven slept since i woke up yesterday noon and that's over 24 hours already.... arghhh..... i'm feeling a little slow-witted already.... i wanna try sleeping earlier tonight... i need to switch my biological clock back!!!

i was sick on monday... haizz... and i spent a long time resting to ensure i would get well soon.... haha... i slept the whole day and i did feel a lot better by tuesday.....

i met up with gim for dinner on tues... miss him even thou we didn't meet for only monday... hahah... can't wait until we get married! mayb he'll get sick of seeing me everyday then?? hahah...

i got some good shots on tuesday... so happy.... i think the best shots were in black/white.... dunno y thou.... hmmm.....

finished up the rest of what i could for my work on tuesday night and i stayed up until 5am+ to do it.... well.... i have a admit that i only got started around 1am or 2am thou... hee.... oh well.. at least it's all done now and i am really happy beyond words... hee.... let's hope that chapter is closed and i can get on with other things! hee...

i got a really good bargain for some acrylic paint previously at spotlight.... 250ml retailing for just $3.50! i think it usually retails for more than 10 bucks and so i really got a very good bargain.... i got the color gold coz mama wanted me to help her paint some stuff... and i really regret not buying more! haiz...

i've got an old pair of canvas shoes that mama refuses to let me wear coz i drew a boy and a girl respectively on each shoe... i couldn't understand it until now.... hmmm.... anyway, i repainted the entire shoe gold! hee... looks cute... i'm toying with the idea of buying some canvas shoes to play with... hahah...

was out with jer on our wed outings and i took the chance to capture more shots with my new camera! hee.... too bad he's more shy and dun take too well to taking pictures in public... haiz... i shall be a good ger and wait for gim to be free and take pictures with me then... hahah...

it's a secret language between gim and mi.... hahah... i think he's easily the only person on earth who will indulge mi and all my crap... hahahah.....

i was goin on about how i wan to have a photo-shoot done by yours truly during our travels and he was just as excited as me over it... so much so that he encouraged me to get a new camera even thou he's not as geeky as me this way.... he even sponsered half of the new camera! hee...

i was reading up on some photo-taking techniques and i'm really excited to try them out with my new camera... i got a simple point and shoot coz i wasn't sure how long my interest would last and i dun really wanna waste too much money... hahah... i did tell myself that if my interest really lasted, i would get myself a DSLR.... hee.....

a wonderful weekend passed.... and it's time for a fresh new week.... lots to get done this week... wat's with my 'work' deadline coming up, new projects for the new house, and personal stuff, i anticipate a real busy week ahead.....

oh yah... seeing that this was supposed to be a blog about me and the 'artistic' aka gluttony side of me, i'll post some pix of the meatballs i made last friday... speaking of the meatballs, they were absolutely yummy! crisp on the outside and soft and flavourful inside.... it was a success with the parents as well and i'm happy that non of us had any side effects from it so far.... hahah... i'm goin to make some herbal chicken thingy tomorrow and i hope it turns out great too...

happy children's day!

i know i had a happy one... which consists of popeye's chicken and a soft toy i totally adored... heee...

i do hope everyone is enjoying theirs too... young or old, child or not....

gim got me this as a children's day present! hee... it's a 'little miss shy' plushie!... i simply love it. i've got a phone thingy of the same character as well... hahah...

i've got an bad neck for the past 2 weeks and it's getting worse.... arghh....

this is the gadget that helped to relieve abit of the pain... not tt it works that well.... but i suppose it's really better then no help.. :)

how it all started....

i've been meaning to start a craft blog for the longest time... seeing how i love blog surfing... haha... but it's always tough to make the 1st move and i much rather spend the time lazying around and seeing the wonders others made...

i'm really not too good at taking photos to document wat i do regularly... i mean, look at mi! i always take photos of empty plates after meals coz i was too hungry to take it before i start eating....

hopefully this blog will teach me to be more disciplined in terms of making stuff and taking pictures to remember them.... :)

a bit about myself....

1. not working at the moment just coz i dun wan to... :p
2. lots of interests with an extremely short attention span....
3. loves baking.... making cupcakes, trying out new recipes...
4. loves cooking.... thou nothing i made ever tasted the same twice coz i pretty much cook based on my mood and i never measure what i throw in... hahah...
5. loves making jewellery...... i've tones from wat i've made over the years and the thing is i seldom wear them twice! hahah... i love making them and i move over to the new piece once i made a new one.....
6. loves crafting..... i knit, i crochet, i sew, i pretty much love to try everything under the sun.... but i only know the basics.... which explains why there are a various number of completed and uncompleted projects in my room... which looks as if a typhoon whizzed passed it.....
7. loves makeup.... i'm not too good at it... but i do love dolling up once in a while...
8. loves to buy shoes..... i've got tons of shoes in my room, mostly heels and the most ridiculous thing?? i'm in slippers 90% of the time since i'm not working.... hahahah...
